Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Bioline Laboratory Pvt. Ltd. ("BioLine", "we", "us"). They apply when you use this website, create an account, or book a test, health package or home collection with us.

By using our services you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

BioLine provides pathology and diagnostic testing at our branches and through home sample collection. The website lets you browse tests and packages, add them to a cart, book appointments, and track your orders and support tickets.

We are a diagnostic laboratory, not a doctor. Information on this website and in your reports is not a diagnosis or medical advice. Always discuss your results with a registered medical practitioner, and in an emergency contact a hospital straight away.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. A parent or guardian must book tests for anyone younger.
• Give accurate details, especially the patient’s name, age and gender — they affect how results are interpreted.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Only add family members and book tests for others with their permission.
• We may suspend accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

• A booking placed online is a request. It is confirmed when our team contacts you by phone or WhatsApp, or when you receive a confirmation message.
• Time slots and home collection are subject to availability and to your address being within a serviceable area. If we cannot meet your preferred slot, we will offer the nearest alternative.
• Our phlebotomist may arrive slightly before or after the booked time because of traffic or earlier collections. We will keep you informed of significant delays.
• You can reschedule or cancel before the sample is collected. See the Refund Policy for how cancellations are handled.

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹). The price shown when you place an order is the price you pay for that order, even if our prices change before your appointment.
• Payment is collected at the time of sample collection or at the branch, unless we tell you otherwise when confirming the booking.
• Discounts and offers have their own terms, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn at any time.
• If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we will contact you before the test and you may cancel at no cost.

Some tests need preparation, such as fasting or stopping certain medication. We will share these instructions when you book. Please follow them — results from an unprepared sample may be inaccurate.

Occasionally a sample cannot be processed (for example, it is insufficient or haemolysed). If that happens we will ask to collect a fresh sample. Recollection is free if the problem was on our side.

A sample is taken only with the consent of the patient, or of a parent or guardian for a minor.

• Report turnaround times shown on the website are estimates. Some results need repeat testing or specialist review and may take longer.
• Reports are released to the patient or the person who booked the test, using the contact details given at booking.
• Test results can be affected by factors outside our control, such as medication, diet or how recently symptoms began. They should always be read alongside a clinical examination by a doctor.

When using the website you agree not to:

• Give false information or impersonate someone else.
• Try to access other people’s accounts, orders or reports, or interfere with the website’s security.
• Scrape, copy or resell our content, prices or test catalogue without permission.
• Send spam, abusive messages or malicious code.

The BioLine name, logo, website design, text, images and test information belong to Bioline Laboratory Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use, but not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

Parts of our service rely on third parties — for example, Google sign-in and WhatsApp messaging. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for content on third-party websites linked from ours.

We follow accredited laboratory standards and take reasonable care in providing our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

The website is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but cannot guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, without affecting your rights to approach a consumer commission.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to bookings made after they are published; bookings already placed are governed by the terms in force at the time.
